I bought a 5-pack from my local ACE store and used them for collecting grass clippings after our yard sat unused for 8 months while a remodel took place.. Needless to say I had a LOT of debris to collect including some small sticks.. Most was grass and large weeds (3' tall).. The bags are very strong and never punctured the sides with the pokier materials.. They didn't even rip when full and I picked them up and carried them out to the trash can area.. Great item and very earth friendly.. These will compost nicely!

Bought these because they were cheaper with an ACE coupon. Immediately realized that they are not as strong as other bags we have tried. On more than 50% of the bags the bottoms were glued together we had to take time to get them apart. On more than 10% of them the bottom was not able to be opened without tearing the bottom of the bag.

These paper yard waste bags are PERFECT. I believe I read someone complaining about them being stuck together or something like that. I've gone through 15 or 20, and haven't had a single bag that didn't work just fine. And they are strong; they can't sit out in the rain, but otherwise I have been able to really pack them with leaves and other yardwaste, to the point I'm basically jumping up and down to cram more stuff in there, and they have worked great. Highly recommend these. Don't bag your yard waste in plastic; why do you need to bag your leaves in something that will not break down for hudreds of years??? THEY'RE LEAVES!!!

I use these bags for recycling. my neighborhood has a recycle dumpster... and all recycling material has to be in paper bags... no plastic. it's such a pain to use those paper grocery store bags... they are too small and weak. the 30 gal yard waste paper bags from ace are perfect. they save me trips to the dumpster.

I loved using these bags for street pick up because after pick up I had no can left in the st. bags where hard to find in sacramento ca. after city started using 90 gal yard waste cans now local Ace has these bags,too late .Now use them for garage clean up construction clean up and trips to da dump.

because the bags are so strudy, I sit one in the room I am purging, especially the garage. I roll the top edge down,place a construction size trash bag inside and work away. When I am done. The room is clean, the trash is out and I still get to use my ACE Sack again. Love these bags

We saw these on the website and I decided to buy a package the next time I was in the store. I was amazed the first time I used them at how well they worked. I have tried them all, but these are the best. hard to tear even after they get wet. Too bad the Ace on Broadway in merrillville, In. carries a different brand. I guess they know better than the customer. I'll pick them up at some other ace store, along with my other hardware puchases.
