My house was completed in December of 2003. It is a concrete block house with a stucco exterior. It has a perimeter of approximately 240 feet with 10-foot high walls on all sides, except the front, which has 12 foot high walls. The original paint applied by the builder was so diluted and thinly applied that it started washing off after only about 5 years. Also, my house developed small step-like hairline cracks in some areas where the concrete blocks meet. I looked into having my house painted professionally, and was quoted prices from $3,000 to $7,000. The cost was way more than I could afford. So, I decided to paint my house myself. I purchased only four 5-gallon buckets of colored paint for the body and two 1-gallon cans of white paint for the trim. I pressured washed the entire exterior of my house first, before applying the paint. I applied two coats over all surfaces, but only one coat was really necessary because the paint went on so thick. I used rollers for large surface areas and paint brushes for more detailed work. The paint went on easily and cleanup of the rollers, pans, and brushes was easy at the end of each day. The paint filled in and covered up the small hairline cracks and the heavily textured stucco exterior easily. The owner, manager of my local Ace Hardware store mixed the paint herself to get the exact color I wanted. I spent a small fraction of the cost to paint my house myself with the "Ace Exterior Stucco, Masonry & Brick Flat Paint" than what I was quoted by professional painters, plus I am sure that I did a much better job than they would have done, especially on the detailed work. The "Ace Exterior Stucco, Masonry & Brick Flat Paint" has been on my house for a little over three years now, and it looks as good as when I applied it, and the small step-like hairline cracks have stayed sealed and have not reappeared. The exterior of my house cleans up easily with the "Ace Exterior Stucco, Masonry & Brick Flat Paint" on it. It feels like the house has an armor coating on it. I should not have to paint my house again. Needless to say, I am very happy with the "Ace Exterior Stucco, Masonry & Brick Flat Paint". It is everything that it is advertised to be, and is most definitely a top quality paint. I strongly recommend it.
