I've had these for 12+ years. Fabulous! We have cut over 200 trees on our property and therefore have had lots of branches. These loppers will handle more than advertised. I've even cut thick roots on the ground, and small trees. I don't want to sharpen blades, so I just get replacement blades from Ace as needed which usually after several years of heavy use.

These cutters are awesome and I've been using them for over 10 years..I recently had to buy my own because I was using my dads so much..These are great for large branches and bushes..I've used these for a long time as long as you make sure the blade is sharpened and oiled they will last you a long time..Make sure you don't try and twist them on bigger branches or bigger brush that your blade can't handle..I also had to buy a replacement blade because I do alot of yard work

I've owned my set of lopping shears approximately 5 years and they've really been tested on our farm. They are really good for clearing brush and trimming lower branches on trees. Mine have been used so much that I just purchased a new cutting head at Ace last week. If you wear yours out, be sure and get the replacement cutter for the end. Excellent product that I consider heavy duty.

Used this to cut Cypress trees to put in a fence, great product, even cut 3" branches by turning tip with no problem, strong work. Cut trees from ground up to approx. 12' by 75' long worth of Cypress. No problem, still using them on other smaller projects as well. DON'T BUY ANYTHING ELSE!!! I've been using them for approx. 1 yr w/o problems and I am getting another for a Christmas present to someone that was really impressed with them.
