Great gentle shower and sharp stream.
However, some problems. 1) Starts leaking with time. Just a drip. (I used another that I had and cut the spring and added it to the other so it closes with more force. Way beyond what the vast majority of people would do though. Still, problem fixed.) I tried adding air tool oil to make it slide better but that in itself did not fix the drip. Do I need a filter? maybe but when I opened it up it wasn't dirty. Seems to me the problem is how it closes after time, not dirt. 2) Lock open clip too long. (I've bent it shorter to make it work.) Wish I had a none bent one to compare to but clearly I couldn't push it in to lock (not a human strength issue. it's a clearance issue). I believe this changed in time as well and worked at first.
I want to give it three stars bc it can be improved by the manufacturers, but I don't have another product to recommend until then (also I do have a Nelson brand gun and it's worse).
Good for starters or to try out.

Things that are great about this product is that it is made in America and the quility is superior to any similar product. The sad part is that you can not find this product in your local hardware stores.

Having bought the name brand at the orange mega store, only to have the cheap pot-metal and plastic break apart when I tried to unscrew the sprayer from the hose, I went to my local Ace and bought this American made gem. Zinc, stainless and brass at a great price. I was so satisfied that I bought two more for other hoses around the house.
