Last Fall,I used this hand pump to pump out the gas in my boat. It worked great. This December I ran the boat in a lake, again I wanted to drain the gas. This time the pump would not work.

Used it recently to change transmission fluid by pulling fluid out the transmission dipstick tube where access to transmission pan is not easy.
Unit seems to be solid construction, starts siphon right away. Easy to use. Instructions list changing oil same way. Have used in the past to pull water out of sink with plugged drain - a real time saver. Made in USA.

I was going to use it to do a oil change so I don't have to crawl under the car. But the cranking motion is so bad that I didn't want to wait my time to try it.
