I bought this in 09/06, have used it a lot for almost 2 years. Have had no trouble with it at all, works as well as any oscillating sprinkler I have ever had. Covers a large area as claimed. Eventually it will wear out and then I will see whether the "Lifetime warranty" will be honored. I am saving the purchase receipt & packaging. If it is honored then I would give this 5 stars.

After going through cheaper sprinklers every year or two, I decided to pay a lot more for what looked like a much more durable sprinkler. After about 2 years of infrequent use it stopped working. I hope I can find the receipt, and I hope they honor the guarantee. Like the other reviewers, I guess it's more cost-effective to just buy a cheapie every year or 2.

Others have found that paying extra for a metal well constructed sprinkler is, for the moment, well founded. UV rays, however have a deleterious effect on plastic and make it brittle. So after a year or two, adjusting the spray causes the adjusters to snap and therefore no longer easy t adjust. Unfortunately, these cannot be replaced. ( I looked and there are no replacement parts although it would appear to be an easy fix.) I think the planned obsolescence geniuses couldn't have done a better job! These adjusters should have been made of brass. May as well buy the cheap ones and replace every other year.

Used this only during a dry season for 2 or 3 years. Rotation has been unreliable now won't work at all. Difficult to connect hose to because female coupling is tight against the body. The filter screen is not removable so it is hard to clean.

Here I am again. It did wear out (stopped oscillating) after 5 seasons. I took the sprinkler, original box, & receipt back to the store and they gave me a new one absolutely free. Can't beat that. New one works great. I'm saving the box & receipt for next time.

Worked well for a couple of watering seasons, then the motor quits, just like the cheaper models. Don't waste your money on this one thinking you'll enjoy the advertised extra long life motor.

I've used this sprinkler for lawn watering for 2-3 years. Bought it because of its strong metal base; seemed very solid, but the cartridge is still plastic. Oscillation has stopped functioning dependably -- sticks on one position. I will attempt return, but do not have receipt. Hopefully, lifetime warranty will be honored.

even though the motor can be taken off of frame , the stores (ACE Hardware) dont have replacements in stock nor do they seem to care to have them.I was told that I should contact the manufacturer for possible parts ordering "ie" its not my problem attitude from employee. Guess i will got to [...] & buy a [$]plastic special & throw it away each year.
