I have a small, apartment-sized dryer that is pretty slow to dry, so I was hoping this lint trap would speed up that process. But it doesn't seem to so far. It does keep the lint from coating my bathroom surfaces. The lint trap seems kind of flimsy - I was worried I was going to break something when I was putting it together. Overall, just OK for the price.

I have not had the product long enough to evaluate its durability, but the simplicity of design would indicate that used properly it should have a reasonable life time of use.

I bought this after moving into a house where the dryer vent exits on the roof of the house. It was taking my laundry hours to dry. Got the idea from a friend who had this on his back porch. My laundry room is in the middle of my house. Now I'm recommending it to a friend. My laundry drys in 40 minutes now.

Works well if you remember to add water..... if not, you'll just have a bunch of dust floating all over your laundry area. Also, you do have to clean it at least every month. It's amazing how much lint this thing collects. I've had mine for 15 years now, and it works for me.
The only hassle is taking off the lid for emptying and cleaning when the duct is attached.

Easy to set up. Saves on heating bill in winter, the hot air stays inside and the vent works similar to a humidifier putting moisture in the air. I think that it is wonderful.
