Not sure what/whom broke it, but our currently installed one just broke last week. We love the design and were not happy with the prospect of having to go with the old spring roller design or paying more and settling with a non-matching metal design. We love that it handles "double rolls" with ease and that the design always keeps the roll against the cabinet. I'm glad that the item is still available and I'll be checking our local ACE stores first before resorting to ordering it on line.

We love the Interdesign bath accessories. I ordered the Interdesign Toilet Tissue Holder,and Towel Bars to replace the the Interdesign Tissue Holder and Towel Bars we have had in our bathrooms for 17 years. They have survived our boys growing up, various guests of all ages, and a bath remodel. We are only replacing them because during extensive construction work to our house after a disaster, they took quite a beating. The only difference between the old ones and the new ones, is the new accessories are whiter. They are great for small spaces because they fit close to the wall. The towel bars allow towels to dry, though they can fit nicely on the back of a door, and with only a three inch door stop, the towel bar and hooks don't hit the wall behind the door. The toilet tissue holder makes it a snap to change the roll, and due to its wall hugging design, you're not bumping into it when cleaning the tight area around the toilet. Hung next to the sink, it makes a nice hand towel holder, too. Interdesign is practical, attractive, durable, a space saver, goes with any decor, and is nicely finished (no exposed screws). We found if you have limited wall space and little ones who can't reach the top bar when you stack the bars one directly above the other, you can make the best use of your wall space by hanging the towel bars side by side, one a little higher than the other, so you can overlap them slightly. The towels won't touch each other, but by staggering the bars, they remain accessible to shorter members of the household, and don't take up as much area as hanging the bars side by side.

This tissue holder was in our small bath when we moved in our home. That was six years ago. I thought of changing it but was so pleased with it I never did. So durable and easy for kids to use.Takes up very little space. It is so easy to dismantle and clean.(I suppose it could be easily painted to match room decor with the new paints on the market for plastics.)I have developed arthritis and changing the rolls are so easy I decided to replace my other bathroom holder with this exact make and model. So I began my search on the internet, as I knew not the maker nor from whence it came. I was delighted to find it at Ace hardware. I would suggest it for anyone with a small company bath because of the durability and ease of cleaning. Great product and the price is a very big plus as most of us have had to watch our budget more closely these days.Kudos to the company on this one!

Since I have a small bathroom (5'x 6') the toliet tissue holder would have to go on the wall behind the toliet which is very inconvienent. I have attached this product to the side of my bathroom vanity right next to the toliet. As the tissue roll gets smaller the arm of the product slowly moves to almost a flush position against the vanity (without a roll of paper it is flush).
