Comments about Dap® Auto/Marine Silicone Sealant (00694):
I create art from vintage & new glass. My birdbaths, bird feeders & plantstands can be anywhere from 2 ft. to 4 1/2 ft. tall & weigh as much as 30 to 40lbs. I also create plate flowers, statuary, & mosaic glass art mounted on vintage window panes. The weight of these pieces can be quite substantial. This product holds up remarkably well. After creating my first pieces 2 years ago, I left them out in my yard in southern Nebraska for approximately 1 1/2 years to test their duriability. They withstood rain, hail, sleet, & snow as well as temperature extremes from -20 degree windchill to 110 degree heat index. I don't drill holes in the glass but use this product exclusively and I will continue to do so.
