I purchased this sink to preserve my new kitchen sink while I was remodeling the house. I didn't want grout or thinset sand in there. This sink more than fills the bill. If I had not had to run the supply and drain plumbing, it would have only been a fifteen or twenty minute job to install. I opted for the slightly more expensive sink with the metal legs, and glad for it. I do not feel in the least it is flimsy. The only hitch I ran into is that I only glanced at the drain fitting on the bottom, and missed that I would need a tail-pipe to install the sink. I could wish the instructions had spelled that out. I think I remember some stating it doesn't drain well, but I installed mine tilted back slightly and it drains beautifully. I know it is "free standing," but I will fasten it to the wall to firm it up, anyway. In addition to the faucet (that I had already), I plumbed an additional new hose bib nearby, so I can blast water at something as necessary. I would recommend that to anyone, also. At less than half the price of the competition, I have no compaints.
