our water bill is high, and so is electricity...then the old washer began to put snags and tiny rips in cotton dress shirts.
why get rid of it? the old thing is fine on jeans and blankets...and they don't make them to last anymore.
so this washboard was perfect!
i do all the underwear, blouses and nice tee shirts, and any other cotton too delicate for the washer.
with a big plastic tub used for storage, and a bathtub non-slip mat, i got me a portable washing system for cheap!
also, my clothes are fresh, and i get a wonderful arm workout...it is so fun~!
all the neighbor kids enjoy watching...why not?
