I obtained this product can opener from my parents. It has been the most reliable and easy and best can opener I have ever had. I have to rely on a hand crank can opener for the use in case of electricity failure during hurricanes, and this is the only one I've ever used that doesn't fall apart with time and is easier to use. I like is so much, now it's the only can opener I use all the time. I looked for this sight so that I can purchase another can opener for my daughter and also in case I want to have several. My neighbor is also looking for a new can opener and I recommended this one. I may purchase one for her. This truly represents the word quality for this day and age. Thank you so much.

My mother in law recommended this can opener when I first married, over 30 years ago, and I purchased one. That Swing A Way can opener lasted 30+ years - with lots and lots of use! Never one to forget a good thing, I'm ordering two while I can still find them....should just about last me through the rest of my cooking days!

The action is very smooth, cut is dependable, don't need a lot of strength to use it. I used mine for over 3 decades and only now need to replace it. Both my sons want ones of their own, preferring it to the automatic one my husband uses (he loves gadgets.)

I bought this can-opener when I first got married 7 years ago, I have never needed another one. If this ever breaks (which I don't think it will) I will go buy the same brand. Every time I use someone else's can opener I think to myself, "Where is my can opener when I need it?" My mom bought one recently after trying several other brands, even Kitchen Aid didn't work well. She does not regret it and wishes she had bought this one in the first place.
