This is by FAR the best sprinkler I have ever used. It gets my grass AND plants watered perfectly while not even needing much water pressure at all. I can set up 3 to 4 of these sprinklers at a time and they still work at their best! This brand of sprinkler (rotator) is far superior to ANY pressure demanding, impulse sprinker!

The mechanism used to disperse the stream of water is simply a flat plastic piece. What ends up happening is that noting near the sprinkler head gets any water. In other words, the spray is like a rainbow and no water goes under the bulk of the arc (Much worse under low water pressure). Whereas an impact sprinkler will pretty much get everything pretty good, but wastes water hitting sidewalks and what have you. On another note, I had to return one of these because it broke after sitting in the sun for a month. I like that these are quiet and don't waste water, but the design needs much work and the plastic thicker.

I've used this sprinkler for several years. It's quiet and precise. The only problem is with the our hot Texas summers the plastic deteriorates and the stops don't hold. But the price is reasonable engough to replace frequently.

sprinkler works just fine when mounted by itself on a solid riser. Only drawback is should no be used with less than 40psi available per head. Dispersion of water over a equal area is fine, set up a test field and found it fairly even throughout the swath. Very impressed for plastic.

Tried to use this for watering a 50x50 garden in hard soil. The unit put more water up close to the unit and out at a distance than in between - while it was staked solidly. It leaks at connections due to poor manufacturing design and quality, which causes water to soak the ground where the unit is staked into the ground. This eventually, in turn, then allows the sprinkler to wobble back and forth until the unit flops around on the ground.

First of all you need to fix the spike will not work on garden hose needs more threads.When you adjust to rotation it sometime will not rotate and will stop working.I have two and love to use them when they work.This is a good product you need to work out the bugs.

The best thing about this sprinkler is its low profile, allowing water to get deep into a thickly planted bed, under shrub foliage. It has few moving parts and I have owned one for 20+ years. Rugged!
