We had a flood in Rhode Island about 15 months ago. The basement had 8 inches of water in it. We bought two different types of pumps. This pump worked great then. Getting ready of Hurricane Irene. Took it out to test it. Not working at all. The other pump I bought from ace is still working great. If you want a disposable pump, this is the pump for you. If you want a better return for your money, buy something else.
