Works very well. I added a piece of ham along with the attractant, because of others suggestions. Plan to get them back out in early spring to kill the queens and stop them before they get started this next year.

About three years ago we had about 100 nests around the property. It was scary even going outside. I have used many different types of traps to get rid of the wasps and yellow jackets. I am amazed at how many I catch. I have found that if you put them out in early spring then you catch the queens. That really helps with the building of nests. If I could find scent refills I would use them, but they seem to work all summer anyway. I have one trap right outside the dining room window. Kind of fun to watch as a wasp will come by and then just struggle to get in. Once they are in I don't think they ever figure out how to get out. I usually just order these online. I order 6 and use 4. That way I always have a couple extra if needed or if I can't find them next year. I really really like what this trap does. It just works.

This has got to be the BEST ever device for catching YellowJackets that I've ever used. It's very easy to use and very easy to set up. We seem to catch anywhere from 12 to 24 every week and that works well for us and for the safety of our two dogs (who are both allergic to bee/wasp/yellowjacket stings). I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a quick way to rid their yard of yellowjackets. As I mentioned in my title, this device is simply outstanding!

Put it out in April and get all the queens. You'll have a great summer if you do. In the past we couldn't even go in our back yard without being stung.

I hang one in the front yard and one in the back yard on decorative poles about 20 feet from porch and deck. I get more than a dozen every few days.

These traps are the BEST! Every season we catch at least a dozen on the first day. Be careful to hang before sunrise, or the yellowjackets will swarm when you're trying to hang it. Keep away from doors, but hang in a place where you can watch the results.
