This unit seemed solid enough. Assembled easily. But, while the test mode worked, this unit never worked in normal operation......it never sensed any motion. Tried everything, resetting switch, adjusting, moving. It never worked. The store gave us quite a hassle that we must have needling something wrong, as if we were idiots. Like connecting a black and white wire to install is somehow rocket science and it was all our fault. We were not impressed. So the unit went back. I assume others have had good experiences, but, this is an appropriate review from our point of view.

I bought two of these lights and after 2 months they are working perfectly. I am very happy with them. They work great and light up my back yard. Everything works just as it should.

As with the prior reviewer, this light did not work for us in cold weather. Not even freezing cold, when our outside temps dropped to ~45F the motion detector stopped recognizing any movement. The light had other problems as well, e.g. its lamp hoods are cheap and bend easily, and have a cheesy friction fit to the fixture (they popped right off every time we tried to adjust the lamps).
We returned this unit two days after purchase.
Bottom line: spend a bit more and buy something that works reliably.
