Comments about Coghlan's® Camp Stove Toaster (504D):
We live in a small apartment with a tiny kitchen, and live near several bakeries where we can get fresh bread whenever we like, se we rarely buy loaves of sliced bread. Recently, our seldom-used space-hogging toaster fell and broke, and we decided to try this little fold-flat camp / stovetop toaster for less than five bucks, hoping for an adequate cheap and small solution. We have a gas range, so the open flame is how we have been toasting and puffing up pita bread for years, but it would get a little messy with sliced bread. This camp toaster works just fine, and toasts four slices at a time, if the slices are small enough; otherwise, it could do two at a time no prob. The summary is that this toaster is more than adequate, and folds down to the size of a dinner plate. We are so glad we tried it. Makes us wonder what other unnecessary things we have become accustomed to in our daily lives we can toss out! :)
