These peg hook locks work very well. They hold the hooks in place on the peg board so that tools can be placed and removed easily without the hooks falling off. The only problem that I encountered is that the locks don't fit the peg board holes tightly unless you make the angles on the ends more severe. At first, I did this by applying a little heat from a lighter to them and then bending them in place. However, I found that I could just bend the ends tighter without applying heat to them. Good product.

These are the peg locks you use with a pegboard storage system...they hold the metal hooks against the pegboard so that when you grab for a tool, the pegs don't come out with with it! These plastic locks always come included with a set of various hooks, but you can't find just these locks just by themselves anywhere...this seems to be the only place. I've shown these locks to a bunch of people who have pegboard systems and they're completely amazed: they never knew these locks existed. The only slight downside to these locks is that they're a little flimsy and if they've been up on your pegboard for a few years, after you take them down, you might not be able to reuse them...that's why finding them in a pack by themselves is SO GREAT!! Buy a few packs b/c you'll use more than you think.

Anyone who uses pegboards knows the aggravation of having the hooks come out when you remove an item from a hook. These locks hold the hook into the pegboard when you are removing an item thereby making the pegboard system function as designed.
