I use these to hang embroidery thread on a pegboard. I need a product that is smooth and snag free so as to not damage the delicate threads. I have tried many products, all of them failed to meet the "smooth" criteria. These are smooth as silk.
If you are hanging hammers and tools use something cheaper. For precious items these hooks are perfect.
The downer is that the support peg is a little too large for the pegboard. Each hole has to be enlarged to get them to fit....but it worth this effort
