Its a handy gadget but first the plastic end broke off and I used a small clamp to put it back together. Now it has been dropped and the screw on end with the connection from hose to pump motor broke off. Where do I get this part to replace? Help?????

Comments about CUSTOM ACCESSORIES Air Master Heavy Duty Foot Pump (57777):
I bought this pump because it was the only manually operated pump in the store. I'm generally not a fan of the folding-action pumps, because they get bent easily. But I needed something to use to inflate the tires on my road bicycle, which I normally inflate to about 100 PSI.
I inflated the rear tire to about 90 PSI. As I approached 100 PSI, something blew out (the seal?) internally. This was within 10 minutes of opening the box.
It's sad to see Ace stocking this sort of cheap Chinese-made junk. I'd gladly pay more for a better product. I would recommend this pump only to my worst enemies.

I bought this pump for my son. We have gone through two and there will NOT be a third. The locking mechanism on the first one brought the first time I went to attach it to a value. Our local Ace was great and simply swapped it out for an new unit. The second lasted a bit longer (about a month) and just now when to pump up a basket ball and on the first stroke of the pump, the aluminum end cap on the cylinder where the piston shaft goes in, tore out where the piston shaft goes in. The metal is about the thickness of a soda can. So no surprise it tore through. DO NOT BUY this pump. It is a piece of junk.

Like the title says, the plastic thumb lock handle is junk.
I didn't get a chance to use this pump because the thumb lock handle broke on my first attempted use. The reason for that is because the force required to move the plastic thumb lock handle is more than it was designed for. Air Master made a poor choice of plastic for this part.

Comments about CUSTOM ACCESSORIES Air Master Heavy Duty Foot Pump (57777):
the plastic thumb lock handle broke off on the third time I used the pump. I guess I don't know me own strength there laddie. So be a wee bit cautious that you close the lock straight down and not slightly off to the right or left. (not always the easiest to do when you are bent over with a heavy parka on and it is ten below.)
