This tester couldn't be better! It takes the guesswork out of whether or not to use or toss a battery, and it takes seconds to use. Becuase it measures the voltage by applying an appropriate load, rather than just testing the "open cell" voltage (like you would with a regular meter), you get a more accurate result. It includes a 1-year warranty, which is nice to see in this day and age. Bottom line, if you use batteries (and who doesn't?), you should own one of these testers.

Whenever something battery-operated fails to work, the first thing I go for is this little guy. When I find a battery somewhere, and don't know where it came from, or whether it works, it's too easy to check it out and end the guesswork.
