Bad- The product was delivered to local store as promised but the paperwork was not with it, store did not know it was for me. They had to check inventory and then others to see it was mine. (Local store was great.)

I needed a new fan motor and blower wheel for a 35 year old Thomas bathroom fan. A search for the Thomas company showed nothing. I kept looking until I found this item which is made for a Nutone, but seemed similar in size. I knew I could return it if it didn't fit. Fortunately, it fit and (with some minor re-wiring) was soon mounted in the old housing. Repairing the old fan from below was much easier than it would have been to install a new one requiring attic access.

25 year old bathroom ventillation fan stopped working. One screw removed fan and housing assembly. Checked several appliance repair stores and other hardware stores. Ace was the only one who had it in stock. Of course, I had to find it myself as store clerk was searching for help. But, they let me open it up, and use their table to replace motor in housing and test to make sure it worked. (Despite being caked with 25 years of steamed dust!). Only problem was they only carried one piece, and I wanted to buy one for another bathroom. It would have also been nice if they had a quieter, more powerful option, but neither Broan nor any other website had information to upsell me. I would have spend more.
