The cost does not include the lab analysis - without the analysis, the contents of this package are worthless. It is only a good deal if you compare vs an outside contractor. For the do-it-yourselfer, this is not a good value.

Good product. Does exactly what it is designed to do, provide accurate Radon testing information for a reasonable amount of money.
There are faster tests available, but they have to be done by a professionally certified & licensed Radon tester, and they are a lot more expensive.

I would hardly call the description of the lab fee "fine print". Let's see, you could use this product and pay a total of [$]. Or. in my area, you could pay a "professional" $250 to do it. And guess what. the "professional" will use the same product or a competitive equivalent and send it off to a lab run by the manufacturer of that product for analysis. In essence you would be paying "professional" a $210 shipping & handling charge.

Of course you have to pay for the results. Just read the package! It's far cheaper than having it done at the cost of $120. This package do it yourself kit is not only accurate but way cheaper than having it performed by a professional company. I am very pleased!

This is a big rip-off because for the money you pay, you practically get nothing. You have to pay 3-times more over the list price to send it to the lab to get anything out of it. Stay away.
