The only recommendation I have is to make sure you have someone to help you assemble the pole. It is heavy and clumsy for one person.

The installation was a breeze. Took me a few hours to set the pole. Had the entire pole assembled and was flying the included flag about 5 hours after I started. I recommend fast-set concrete. I also recommend using a small level (sometimes called a "torpedo level") to plumb the sleeve as you pour the concrete around it. This will save you having to plumb off of the first section of pole and, consequently having to brace that pole while the concrete sets up.

I had given this pole as a gift. I own the same.
Each section was drilled with a self tapping stainless steel screw. Pilot hole first. The snap hooks had too be filed to fit the flags grommets. 5 minutes ea. Do not use Brass hooks for they will scratch the paint. Also noisy .

The only issue I had with the pole was the brass eyes on the flag were to small to attach the enclosed clips with. Had to go to my local Ace store and buy two nice brass clips.

Easy to assemble; best to have two people. Quality seems good except for the cleat. Cheap plastic that broke second time I used it. Buy a steel one and you're good to go.

Great pole, great price, very strong and the finish is of good quality. I do suggest that the owner drill a hole in each sleeve joint (4) and put in a small stainless steel screw then dab the area with porcelin touch-up paint. This will prevent the sections from twisting in the wind which will cause rust to develop and run down the entire poll. Take these extra steps and you will have a fine flag pole that will withstand very strong winds and looks much better than the bare steel color from other stores.
