I got 10 bags of 2 cubic ft Miracle-Gro Potting Mix. I had a lot of single, double, and hanging pots to fill up. The soil USE TO BE POOR Quality and I use to have to add worm castings to enrich the soil..BUT NOW, WOW IS IT GREAT!!! It also feeds for up to 6 months. I live in Florida and I noticed it is packaged in Ohio. I am EXTREEMLY HAPPY with this product now. I'm 71 years of age and have used many soil products in my lifetime, so to say I'm HAPPY, says a lot for this product.

I always bought Miracle Gro potting soil because I got good results both with house plants and outside planters. I bought 3 large bags, repotted all houseplants at home and at the office - now have been fighting fungus gnats (look like fruit fly infestation) for 3-4 months. . . it was in the bags of potting soil. From checking online, this is a wide spread problem with MG recently - causes: compost not "finished"; bagged wet; and/or stored wet if bag perforated. Wide spread (multiple states) appears to indicate that this isn't a "one batch" problem. Scott's needs to deal with their quality issues.
In the meantime, would like to see Ace offer other options including some of the newer "soil-less potting mixes".

I bought a bad bag of miracle-gro potting mix bar code #32247 43513 1 cu. ft. at [...]. It was full of gravle, sticks, bark, clay. I was very disappointed in this bag. I bought miracle-gro potting mix before and I was satified with it but not this bag.
