I bought this about a year ago - it immediately began to sag - one end is several inches lower than the other. I could live with that, but then (after owning this for less than 3 months) the paint started to flake off and the dowels (which are just stapled in) would slip out. (Why would the manufacturer paint this thing anyway?) Now I've got a heavy duty one from a great online source for non-electric goods. Sturdy (the dowels are screwed in and are much bigger) and, guess what?, unpainted!

I purchased this dryer rack in other state at an Ace Hardware Store. I loved the size of it...but when I got it home it collapses all the time because the dowels come out of the holes....not just one hole about 5 of them. Terrible. Could like to return to an Ace Hardware in the state I live in.

I own two of these. In the winter I use them inside, but the rest of the year they are outside on my deck. Yes the paint does fleck off, but there is no staining of the laundry, and I just shake them off. The only things I don't dry on them are my towels. My husband demands they go in the electric dryer. Everything else is dried on my racks

I've been using this clothes dryer for less than a year and it is already falling apart. The painted dowels are very flimsy and are bowing, plus the paint is peeling. The fasteners on the legs are very weak and the whole thing is leaning to one side - I have to prop it up against a wall to hold it up straight. I don't think it will last much longer. My suggestion, spend a little more and go with a metal drying rack.
