The hummingbirds seem to love the stuff. I use the red instead of the clear because it goes on sale more often. I don't know if the birds like the red better than the clear but it looks more attractive in the feeders.
I buy several boxes when it goes on sale it lasts for months without any problems. Very good shelf life.
HINT: Use a measuring cup to mix the recommended product powder to water ratio then use a kitchen funnel to fill the feeders. Greatly reduces spills and messes.
