it is constructed with a hose bib at the business end allowing you to attach anything to it that you can put on your hose. the rest(that i could find) were only sprayers except for one other i found online for way over two hundred dollars. in their defense, it did have a brass fitting at the hose end. :)

Ace, Listen to me. This thing leaks terribly from the gasket. it needs to be redesigned so that this no longer happens. It is a wonderful idea. I can put it between 2 hose and just set it and forgfet it. the jar needs smaller threads and maybe4 a better gasket. For now I would not recommend this piece of junk to no one.

I used a Miracle-Gro feeder with a similar design and loved it. The biggest problem with this one is that it leaks. If used with a hose reel, attach it between the reel and the short hose to the spigot. Attach the lid and then fill the cup, remove just the cup to refill. For the longest life, leave it attached. Despite the leak, I would still suggest that a person purchase one. It feeds and you do whatever you want or need to do. Test yours before adding any insecticides to make sure that it does not leak. If it does, do not hold it while applying the incecticide.

I was shopping around looking to replace the vintage miracle Gro lawn & Garden feeder that developed a leak from leaving it in the garage during the winter months.
I found this one online & it was an exact replacment with the flow through design. I had read some the negative reviews & still decided to purchase it at our local Ace retailer. We use our unit with a watering Wand attached instead of the adjustable end piece.It works a good as the old unit ever did with no leaks at all. The only change I made upon starting out the first time was to use the original Miracle Gro plastic bottle which is almost identical to the Ace bottle, but has a little shorter neck that screws onto the feeder head. The gasket in the head seals perfect.
We use this item to feed Rododendrons & Azaleas with miracle Gro granular product for acid loving plants

I've used it several times during the past month and I haven't had any major problems with this unit. The unit did leak a little when I attached it directly to a spigot (at 45 degree angle), but worked fine when kept in a more upright position on the ground or when used as a sprayer.

Great idea but horrible design. I bought one, it leaked from the gasket. Went back, returned that one and replaced it with another. This one leaked just as bad. It appears this entire product is junk.

I have it connected to my irrigation system to feed the garden plants with liquid furtilizer i.e. miricle grow. Works great. You can use powder or liquid furitlizer with this.

I had a similar product years ago and foolishly threw it away. This Ace sprayer is great for use with solid crystal plant food and/or liquid fertilizer. Self-mixing and you direct where the plant food goes.
Well made, easy to use. I'm not getting rid of this one!

Leaks like a sieve from the top. Have to just barely have the water on to control the leaking. The gasket is in place correctly.
