Works great in my front closets (over exterior stairs) that get a lot of moisture. I need to recharge them more often but they are great. I would buy larger if availabale as rechargeable since I have no lights or electric power source in these closets. I MAY buy their other larger model after I figure out how to easily get an extension into closet.

You do have to plug it in every now and then, about weekly or more. The more humid it is in the room of its use, the more you plug it in. When you plug it in, it may need to stay plugged in for a few hours or more to dry it out, then once you replace it to its spot it should not be plugged in, but instead it should the soak up humidity over the next few days. It has a color coded indicator letting you know when you need to recharge it again. When you recharge it, watch over it because it becomes quite hot to touch while charging/plugged in. No dangerous cord, simple, clean, totally silent, compact, get one for each room that is stuffy. Interesting invention, futuristic like. Color blends in, though seemed to only come in one color. I have not had it long enough to test its effectiveness so I bought several more for other rooms in the home to see how much difference it makes. I tried other products like the huge motorized dehumidifier but it was too loud and messy. Of you order on line, always ship to home no matter the cost, you do not want to ship to store with this company. It is so much easier to ship to home, easy, simple, trusted.
