I live in a condo and the exterminator is scheduled through our management office, covered under our monthly maintenance fee. Unfortunately, I began seeing those pesky sugar ants about 6 mos. ago and the exterminator failed to get rid of them. I had just about given up when I started researching products on-line. I tried this product and I couldn't believe how quickly it got rid of the sugar ants. I applied the product where I had seen the trail and about an hour later the spots where I had spread the gel was literally covered black with ants. I let them feast on the gel hoping they'd take it back to the nest. Later that night I went to check on them and there were NO ants left, and they had eaten most of the gel. That meant they went back to the nest. Hooray!!! They NEVER came back. It was amazing to watch the process. This product is AMAZING!!!

I moved in to a new apartment that had an ant problem! I can't stand bugs of any kind and was looking for a product that would deliver quickly. This product does exactly what is says - it kills ALL ants within 3-5 days by attracting ants to the product who then go back and kill the colony. We squirted a few drops into a used milk lid and set it by the trail they were coming in at. Within 24 hours we did not see any more ants. Works great! We had tried other products, but nothing worked to totally eliminate the problem. This product did.

This product WORKS! We moved in to our apartment a few months ago here in Florida, during the very hot months lots of creepy crawlers like to come in to homes where it's a bit cooler. The place hadn't been taken care of by the previous tenants, we had to repaint and clean the carpets - after all that work we found out they had just piled FOOD CRUMBS under the kitchen cabinets. We cleaned as best we could but found that we aggravated 'small black ants' or 'sugar ants' as my mother used to call them - overnight they were EVERYWHERE. I bleached the counters and floors regularly but they just kept coming back - we keep our house very clean and do not keep any sweets.
TWO DAYS after applying this gel around the perimeter of the kitchen countertop, a bit above the refrigerator and a few drops a few inches in underneath the stove (we have two cats, we were a bit cautious about where we placed the poison) they were gone. I could tell roughly 15minutes after we set the poison quite a few ants took to it right away. We left it out for a few days just incase there were any stragglers that had been to lazy too get to it right away, but we no longer need to be ashamed when inviting friends over to our apartment and explain ourselves out of an ant infestation!
The only reason I said it was messy cleanup is because I didn't predict the consistency of the gel to be the way it was. I thought it would be more like a hot-glue type paste but it was more of a jelly, after the first few drops you get the hang of it.
Sorry for the long comment, but I rarely ever fill out these types of things but I am just so relieved that this stuff actually works - and it didn't just reduce the amount of ants - it eliminated them.

I own a lot of rental property. I've used all types of ant bait and this by far is the fastest and most effective. This is like "Crack" for ants, they go crazy for it.
I've tried a similiar gel product from Lowes (looks like peanut butter vs the clear gel)and it was a waste. I will never buy anything else for ant control. No need to call in pest control anymore.

This is the best ant control product I have ever used. Just put at the beginning of an ant trail and in a few minutes all the ants stop there to feast. They take the bait back to the nest and never come back. I have used Combat Ant Gel in my home and in the yard. It is much more effective than other bait traps, which the ants always seem to ignore. I was concerned about toxicity and looked up the main ingredient Fipronil on the web. I found that it has a relatively low toxicity for mammals. Amazing! Ants were all over my counter, coming in under a window sill. Friend loaned me Combat Ant Killing Gel, I put it under the wooden sill, and I could not believe they were stopped instantly! Excellent product! I have used this gel for the last few years and it consistently outperforms other ant colony killing products, including traps and liquids. The ants eagerly eat it and within a day or two their trail is gone. The gel clings to vertical surfaces and can be placed precisely where needed. We had a serious ant problem a few years ago and this product brought it under control. Highly recommended!
