First off, this stuff goes along ways. I own a 97' Chevy truck. Single cab, regular bed. My brother owns a 2002 Chevy truck. Ext. cab, regular bed. We effectivly did both trucks with 2 thick coats out of one kit. The kit comes with a gallon of herculiner, 2 rollers and a scuff pad. Just tape off what you dont want this stuff on and then apply. We rolled ours on. Be careful though, if you do the top of the bed, the roller will flick this stuff on the body. We just taped up some paper on the side of the bed to keep this stuff off. Do not get on your skin either. Takes forever to get it off. I cannot comment on how durable it is. I have had it for 2 months but havent thrown or hauled anything serious in the bed. I also rolled herculiner on part of my boat trailer tongue. I have had to many slips on that last summer, tryin to get my boat loaded on straight. Should have some grip now. Good luck.

Comments about ACE HARDWARE Herculiner® Truck Bed Liner (HCL0B8):
I originally put this product on the cab of our john deere gator. The cab was mostly tin and it was very noisy, after installing the liner the cab has really quieted down and it has a fantastic look. I am very pleased with herculiner and I have plans to use this in many different applications such as the tool box for the gator and the bed of my sons truck this weekend. you would want to apply the liner in a very ventilated room. It doesn't take that much time to put on especially with two people. over all I am very satisfied especially with the price and the quality, I would say it is comparable to Line-X or Rhino liner and both of those are expensive.

Don't rush the scratching of the bed. The more time you spend on it the better your overall product will look. Clean the bed of your truck with acetone before installing the product.

Great if you need something that is non-skid.
No problems at 100+ degree weather for a month!
I have not put much in the bed to really test the durability yet. The bed will only be used for light duty use.
Coverage is as advertised in my case.

I HAVE A 16'CIRCULAR CONCRETE BLOCK POOL 1' DEEP WITH A FLOWING FOUNTAIN IN THE CENTER AND IT HAS HELD UP QUITE WELL SO FAR. WISH IT WERE AVAILABLE IN BLUE AS THE BLACK ABSORBS THE HEAT AND THE WATER GETS WARM. HOWEVER, THE GOLD FISH HAVE SURVIVED SO FAR.

Comments about ACE HARDWARE Herculiner® Truck Bed Liner (HCL0B8):
I applied this product 3 weeks ago and so far I am satisfied with the result. The prep work is the most labor-intensive part but is essential for proper application. I sped up the paint-scouring process with a power tool because it would have taken several hours with the scour pad that was included. I placed a topper over the bed a couple of days after the application, so I haven't noticed any fading due to sun exposure as I had read about in other reviews. I feel the product has allowed me to extend the life of my truck bed. The product is really messy so I taped off using painter's tape, and then taped newspapers below that so no drips would end up on the body of the truck. It's best to apply this in an open, somewhat cool and shaded area with lots of ventilation. The 1 gallon kit was plenty for my Toyota Tacoma.

Comments about ACE HARDWARE Herculiner® Truck Bed Liner (HCL0B8):
Looks as good and is as tough as any spray on liner I've seen for a fraction of the price. took me about 10.5 hours total time, was ready for the second coat in under 4 hrs. 2nd coat went on smooth and easy. I used the last 2/3s of the quart can for touch ups and xtra coat on back bed/tailgate, finished product looks amazing.

This is a great do it yourself bedliner kit. It will take better part of two days to complete. Don't skimp on the prep work, make sure everything is scuffed really good, cleaned well with Xylene, and mask off everything with tape. The rubber pieces make this stuff fling all over the place!
I am very happy with the end result. It is not as thick as a professionally applied spray on. I agree with others that one gallon cuts it close on two coat coverage. I would want an extra quart, but for a really professional job you would need two gallons for at least 3-4 coats.

Comments about ACE HARDWARE Herculiner® Truck Bed Liner (HCL0B8):
I used this product for the floor of my cargo van. I started with the included brush, going around the perimeter of the floor to "cut in". This was easy and went very smoothly. I tried to use the (very cheap) roller that was included in the Kit and the job became VERY messy. As I tried to roll it on as instructed, it splattered everywhere, on my hands shirt, and legs. This stuff must be cleaned up before it dries or it will NOT come off!!! I ended up just using the brush for the entire job, and it came out great. My recomendation is, if possible, just buy the Herculiner and a couple of cheap chip brushes and do NOT buy the Kit. Overall, this is a Great product, but make sure you have Xylol (Xylene) on hand with a bunch of rags.

great stuff, doesn't cover as much area as the can describes. I reccomend 2 coats. I have had it in use for 2 years and it has held up nice. I recently bought more for another project. make sure their is plenty of ventilation wherever you use it as it does put off alot of fumes.

Comments about ACE HARDWARE Herculiner® Truck Bed Liner (HCL0B8):
I first used this on my truck , and then on the underside of my mower deck and found out it repels water and gravels bounce of the rubber like coating under my mower deck , so then since then I have used it on steps on my deck , the step on my RV , in my lawn cart I pull behind my mower , and I also coated 4 huge professional outdoor speakers and some equipment road cases with this 5 years ago and have had really bad rainfalls on my speakers but due to the water repellent of this product I never had to worry about my speakers or the wood getting saturated with water and it also "seals" the speakers acoustically giving them a better sound . I have thought of many other uses for this product as well and will test it to see how it does . As far as I am concerned the uses for Herculiner are endless , " THANKS Herculiner for making my life a little easier and I worry less about the elements on my speakers "

Comments about ACE HARDWARE Herculiner® Truck Bed Liner (HCL0B8):
Great out come and easy to use. Looks great! Hard to clean up though, so wear gloves and sleeves. To the review below/above that claims you can do two trucks with one gallon, NO WAY! I did my 6.5 foot bed on my Silverado and had to run out and buy an other quart. This is my only complaint to Herculiner, please make a kit to effectively coat a full size bed. This is why I gave this a rating of 4 stars. Over all, it is well worth it. If I ever need this to coat an other bed I will buy this kit plus a quart. I have about 120 bucks in it which beats two quotes from local vender's by 400 bucks.

I got a quote for $500 to do a short bed chevy colorado at my local body shop. I did this myself in 4 hours total and it was pretty simple. It also probably turned out better than the shop could have done it. Awesome traction and extremely durable. I will do every truck I ever own from now on.

I have used this product on two jeep wranglers. It is very easy to use i simply removed the old carpet and a little prep then just apply the herculiner. The only thing i do not like is that the dirt and mud sticks to the herculiner very well which makes it hard to get out.... i have to pressure wash it really well, but for the money its great
