I don't know anything that isn't great with it except it doesn't chop sour krout too well. I use it to chop nuts, shred zucchini and carrots for quick breads

This is my second Salad Shooter. I had the first one for about 18 years used about 2-3 times a week. When my first one died, I hit all the local stores, then started on the internet, I was so desperate to find one. Nothing beats a salad with fresh carrots and cheddar cheese shredded over the top! I use it for so many chopping and shredding jobs I can't list them all. It also stores neatly standing up in a cupboard.
