Comments about PC P.C. Woody® 1.5 oz. Stainable Wood Epoxy Paste:
This is great stuff but it is a little hard to shape when applying. I recommend a small amount when trying to build up wood more than 1/4 inch thick. Very easy to carve. Even easier if you start before it is fully cured. My project involved using a lot of this stuff to build up the ends of a rocker (chewed off by my puppy). I added extra material then carved it into shape after partially curing and finally sanding into final shape. After staining and finishing, I can't see where the damage was.
