My after market 3rd brake light came down. It attached to rear glass with a black 2-sided, double stick tape. Black, so it disappears. This is an excellent heavy-duty replacement, although you'll need to trim to the size needed with a single-edge razor blade. This was a perfect replacement. Just remember to clean the glass real good (twice if needed), prior to mounting.
