Comments about ACE HARDWARE Ace® Dry Cleaning Sponge - 12 Pack:
I was able to locate this after much searching in Jax. We had soot buildup on the walls from burning candles. We tried cleaning the walls with vinegar and magic eraser and only ended up rubbing it into the wall. We found the dry sponge and when we took it home to use it, it had immediate results. The soot we tried so hard to get off came off in one swipe and it also removed dirt. So well that we cleaned more than we thought we would. Unfortunately, the sponge wouldn't work on the areas we had tried to clean. So lesson learned, don't try to get soot off your wall without the dry sponge.
