Like mentioned before, This knife has the best blade lock/change mechanism out there. The blade is very easy to change yet still locked securely and does not fall out unexpectedly. Huskey used to make a knife exactly like this but now all of theirs use the "quick change" blade release, which is complete GARBAGE. The blade will often come out while using the knife and create dangerous situations. The ACE knife is the only one I can still find that is simple, slim, and still uses the good blade holding mechanism. Buy 10 of them, before they disapear!

I agree with the last review. I too have used the quick release and the slide release and returned it the same weekend due to unsafe usage cutting myself. The mechanism on this tool is easy to replace a blade. It fits nicely in my pocket as a folded pocket knife. I had to replace mine after inadvertantly throwing my last one away. [...]

It has the safest, most effective locking mechanism on the market and it is becoming increasingly difficult to find. Other companies are switching to a quick release locking mechanism which is apparently cheaper to make, but is inherently dangerous to use. One of my coworkers cut the tip of his finger off using the quick release. I have used the quick release as well and the blade simply falls out during use. Please continue to make this style. I work with many construction workers who would be very disappointed if this type of blade with locking mechanism was discontinued!!!
