A mixure of 1/3 sugar, 1/3 flour and 1/3 boric acid in a saucer attracts and kills roaches very effectivly.

My family has been using boric acid for years to control pests. My dad was a manager of apartment complexes and this stuff works great and has lower risks than other methods like foggers. My best advice is to pull out all your apliances clean then spread the powder underneath or make lines for the bugs to crawl across. use a little common sense and don't put it in places it comes in contact with food, kids toys or pets. Limit sources of food and water and in no time they are gone! the worst part is cleaning up the dead critters afterwards. works fast...within days if you do it right.
