This fan is very quiet! I use it on the corner of my desk & I don't even hear it. Some of my co-workers have stopped by & put their hands in front of it to feel if it is blowing. The oscillate function is fine but, with the top & bottom adjustability, I don't even use it.

I bought this desktop fan to help keep cool air circulating on and around my laptop. Aimed at fresh air intake vents on my laptop - this fan makes a 10-15 degree difference in motherboard, CPU and HD temps - a huge + for those running intensive applications on laptop computers. Laptops run hotter than desktop PC's by design, and therefore heat is an even bigger enemy. Buy this fan and help your laptop do its job at a cooler temp and last much longer!
