This product is not flimsy being made of thick heavy gauge metal and is designed to mount on any pole, post, platform. It includes all the hardware and accessories necessary to mount in all these applications. This bracket will likely outlast multiple mailboxes. I ordered online as it was not stocked in-store at our locale, but delivery to the store was quick and free.
