All you have to do is shake the granules near the ant hills. The ants take it into the nest and they eat this. Soon you do not see ant activity, after only about a week. To draw ants away from your house, spread this around the outside of the house, all the way around and the ants will be drawn to the Amdro and leave you in peace. They will also rest in peace.

We bought Amdro for the first time a couple of years ago and wouldn't use anything else. Within a couple of hours the ants were gone. As we poured the pellets we could see them coming out to it. Yes, a month and half later we had to do it again but it works and for the price (not expensive) it is well worth it.

California - tiny black ants.
We used Amdro Ant Block for the 1st time last December, and for the first time, we had no ant invasions throughout the entire winter. Applying 2nd round of Amdro today. Mistakenly picked up another brand because we forgot that Amdro was what we needed, and that bait was totally ineffective. Found the Amdro container today, off to the store for a new container! Goodbye ants!!!

I had a large infestation of carpenter ants in my house. I used AMDRO Ant Block and within 4-5 days it killed the entire colony. Great product it works!

Yes, it kills all types of ants, but unfortunately, the ants move back into mounds within 2-3 weeks.
