The first time I use it, the food was done before the thermometer display the correct temp. The second time, the needle didn't even move, and suddenly it went all the way up to max. I took it out of the oven and it showed 375F, and it is being more than 24 hrs and still showing the same temp!! Unfortunately I threw the packing out and the receipt, so I'm stocked with it! Garbage....

My new electric oven did not seem to be baking as well as my old one. I purchased this thermometer and determined that the oven was actually 20 degrees cooler than indicated. After adjusting the oven control as outlined in the oven owner's manual, my oven temperature is right on the mark, thanks to the Taylor oven thermometer.

I NEVER KNEW IF I WAS COOKING WITH ACCURATE TEMP. I BOUGHT THIS TEMP. AND NOW MY BAKED GOODS ARE NEITHER UNDER/OR OVERCOOKED. VERY REASONABLY PRICED.
