Lasted 1 year before switch failed. The really sad part is that I ended up getting this pump after replacing 2 of the Genius switch pumps. Thats 3 Wayne pumps in 3 years. My Dad used to swear by these pumps, not so much anymore.

I bought this pump last March and it has already broke down and will not run...The motor hums and the housing gets really hot...I use to like Wayne and thought they made a quality pump but now I really doubt it...Do not buy!!!!

I purchased this pump 2 years ago thinking it would last for several years. We went to the basement to grab Christmas Gifts this morning and heard strange grinding noise. I went to check out the pump and tried pulling it from the well and it absolutely feel appart. It had rusted to the point of failure in less then 3 years. Pathetic! And on Christmas day no less.
