Comments about Honeywell® Mercury Free Thermostat (YCT87N1006):

Needed to replace an old mercury based Honeywell. This was the only round model local store had. Installation was simple and fast, instructions are very good. I was surprised to see it has a non-replaceable (as far as I can tell - manual is silent on the matter) lithium battery inside. At some point it will fail so this model definitely has a limited life though the battery should last a long time. Will the electronics? It's too early too tell. They do seem to be doing a good job. There's nothing I saw about the battery on the website or packaging hence this review so you'll be forwarned. (And why it's only four stars.)
