I applied the thoroseal to the exterior of my concrete block foundation. It was tricky to get the right mix at first but I liked the end result. I think the foundation should be much more water resistant. Check out the youtube video.

I would never recommend nor would I ever use any Throseal product again. They are really good at answering your pre-sales questions but they will let you hang out to dry if you have a problem after using their product. I used their product as directed yet still got water leakage in my basement. I requested assistance as well as later requesting a refund. All of my requests went unanswered.

I have a block wall that I used this product on and it looks fantastic. Mix thicker than as directed and apply with a puddy knife. I filled in all of the gaps between the block then faux painted. It looks great and is not on year two without any cracks. I saved a ton over having someone stucco the wall and it looks better. Great product.

I purchased a home in the Historic District and the first rain that came resulted in a river flowing across the basement floor. I purchased the Thoroseal and it STOPPED the water, not only the river, but all moisture to my basement. I owned the home for five years and no moisture whatsoever for those five years. Now, I am purchasing it as an insurance policy for my new basement! I have recommended this product to many people.

I have used this product for almost twenty years on my partialy concrete pool. It is a great product and very easy to use. It continues to adhere to the cement even though it is under water. It also stores well if kept dry until you are ready to use it.
