Emailed Rubbermaid for lid replacement. None available for this model #1345. Other reviews on their site complained about the same thing. What's odd is that I saw a tan colored lid available at a local ACE Hardware store. I did not grab it then because I needed green.

I like not love these trash cans. The material is sturdy, more like a commercial grade. I live in FL and it has to hold up to the sun. However, we use 39lb trash bags to hold our garbage and I have to be very careful transfering bags into it. The rim of the trash can is sharp and stiff and can cut right into the bags. Since the moldings on the side are not well defined I'm afraid over time the garbage men will use and break the handle that's meant for pulling when they're trying to pick it up. FYI- these are sold in a pack of 4 luckily I needed 4 but I got them on sale and felt that the price per can was fair.

I use them for my yard , put a sticker on it , grass, leave , small branch ..works well and easier to use than paper bag .
