The lid becomes brittle after a few months and falls apart. The can itself is good, but the can is not good for refuse without a lid. I have looked everywhere for replacement lids to no avail. It is very frustrating but it is what it is.

the lid is made of a different type of plastic, so it does not last. The can is not a problem, and is easy to move, even when full.

These trash cans, available for [$] or so, will last about 3 years before the lids deteriorate, crack and become brittle, then fall apart. Getting another has so far been impossible, which means you have to buy another one for another [$]. This leaves a bad taste for me, but I dont see anything out there that beats them otherwise. I am considering making my own aluminum lid, which will double or triple the life of the cans. Everything but the lids are great.
