Comments about Deflect-O® Air Deflector with Dust Filter (52):
We have used this product for over 10 years to go over our floor vents for our wood furnace. The filters are great if you have a wood furnace as smoke particles will float out without it and mark your walls.

Comments about Deflect-O® Air Deflector with Dust Filter (52):
I used this product to redirect my window air conditioner vent up toward the ceiling so when I sit in front of it, I wouldn't have the cold air blowing on me. I used outdoor doubleface tape to secure it to the the air vent & adjusted it to the exact width of the ac, securing set width with indoor doubleface tape. It does work really well, although you might need to be creative if using it for the same purpose as I have. Even when using it for its' intended purpose, I would strongly recommend the outdoor & indoor doubleface tape to strengthen and securing unit to floor vent.

Comments about Deflect-O® Air Deflector with Dust Filter (52):
Need to redirect air because my daughter has allergies.
The only thing that is not so great about it is the installation of the filter to the plastic deflector; You have to really push it in.
Everything else is great!

Comments about Deflect-O® Air Deflector with Dust Filter (52):
We purchased the 10-14" air deflector with dust cover today and are very disappointed. In fact, we intend to return this device promptly.
The plastic is cheap and therefore probably breakable. In addition, the dust filter does not fit. The tabs are too thick to fit the slots. What a disappointment.
There are other deflectors with unbreakable plastic (who cares about the dust filter?) that are available through catalogs and the Internet. We paid considerably more for the four we've had for several years but will pay their higher price for a quality product.

Comments about Deflect-O® Air Deflector with Dust Filter (52):
These move the air coming out of the floor vent to the center of the room. Our HVAC vents are on the floor within inches of the wall. This forces the majority of hot/cold air up the exterior walls of the room. These redirect the air to the interior of the room where you're sitting/sleeping/eating. We bought 10. You can't put them in front of a door, though, or you'll accidentally step on them.
These are small and very unobtrusive. We used to have the goofy looking ones that stretch out, these are very attractive.
