We have forced hot air heating at home. Several of the vents are installed on the wall. The magnet on this style allows me to set the angle I desire. on vents under windows, i use I tip it to deflect the air so it doesn't blow up the curtains. I am ordering more today, to cover the rest of our vents. it has made a huge difference in the warmth (cool in summer)of the rooms.

I use the deflectors in our dialysis units to protect the patients from direct AC. They work great and cost very little. I did have to take off the magnets and drill holes in the plastic ends, but that was because of the application. It was well worth the extra time because the patients were very greatful. Thanks ACE!
