I have only one bathroom but I have been using one of these oak toilet seats for more than five years. (The one before THAT served an even longer useful life.) If properly installed with screws neither too loose or too tight, this seat will last a long time and is a very good investment for the money. I do find this installation takes a certain amount of time and care, however.
