I have installed at least 8 of these showers in many different types of homes and cabins and even in a mobile home bedroom for an addtional shower they needed. I used to be the owner of a Handyman Service company and this shower fit into so many different areas that it was well liked by all the customers who bought it.
I recommend this shower to anyone looking for a cheap shower or for a basement shower for that dirty auto mechanic, Pet wash area, or even in a garage area! or??

I installed one of these as a quick replacement for leaky tub. It is very flimsy. The shower base feels like it is going to crack. I even used spray foam to pad it. I wish I had set it in mortar. Anyhow, be sure to install the shower pan the right way. This is not clear at all in the instructions, and I ended up installing it backwards. I didn't realize it, until the holes didn't line up and had to make do. Overall, it is up and running. I'd suggest a better curtain as well. The one included is like a trash bag. I expect I am going to have to replace because the plastic drain pops and cracks when moving around in it due to the flimsy base. I will most likely buy this same unit and use the mortar to set it in.

Comments about Mustee® Durastall Shower Stall (68):
I am a Pastor of a Small Church on a Small Budget. We needed something economical but didn't care about how it looked because it was going to be rarely used and is only seen by those using it. This was exactly what we needed and has been great for us over the past 2 years we have used it. The only complaint I have is that the instructions on how to install the sidewalls are hard to understand, but once you get it, it takes no time at all.

Comments about Mustee® Durastall Shower Stall (68):
It took me roughly 4 hours to assemble and install this shower unit alone. It did take a little outside the box thinking to snap the sides and back together alone, took about half an hour to figure out a way, but once I came up with a method it was bing bing bing done.

Comments about Mustee® Durastall Shower Stall (68):
This economy shower is the ideal fix for when you are remodeling a bathroom and you have room someplace else in the house where this unit can be installed. It is not designed for long life. The unit was installed in the cellar. I built an 8" high floor stand and fed the drain into the sump. One person assembly proved impossible for the first timer. All parts did however fit together nicely and the instructions proved adequate.

Comments about Mustee® Durastall Shower Stall (68):
I thought I was buying a free standing shower. Turns out it was one that had to be put together. I is extremely flimsy and don't think it will last long. We had to buy hardware to put it together halfway descent and we still haven't used it. I was so happy with the price but quickly found out why. I am very disappointed.

Comments about Mustee® Durastall Shower Stall (68):
This is My Second Mustee® Durastall Shower Stall (68). The First Lasted Me 19 Years and I replaced it due to the Faucet Hor t Water Handle going bad and would cost $50 + Shipping to Replace it, and it only cost me $109 for a whole new shower. The Orginal was getting worn looking and did have some cracking around the Rail Handles. They Walls are Very Thin and I do Recommend Using a Square Piece of Stainless Steel or Aluminum between the Rail and the Wall of the shower to give it support. I did this on my first shower and it did increase the life of the shower walls. The shower is made out of all Plastic. I did buy a door that they make for it because the shower curtain is a waste and you will have water all over the place. I did make a Platform to mount the shower on,out of Cemented Bricks to allow for the drain height. I also made "L" Brackets and used these to support the shower walls to the Rafters above, and also to Hold the base in Place so it does not move.It worked very well with these improvements..All in All it is a shower that works. Mine is Used everyday and it is very easy to clean !

Comments about Mustee® Durastall Shower Stall (68):
The walls are so thin (1/16")thick the plastic bows and bends. The base is so cheaply made the drain is hardly lower than the water. We had to use our old shower walls to install it. We worked on it all day and had to give up trying to get the plastic walls to stay up.
Anyone that buys this item better be ready for problems!!!

Comments about Mustee® Durastall Shower Stall (68):
Get what you pay for. Needed a temp 2nd shower due to a remodel. Instructions were poor as far as knowing what bolts go to where. As far as assembly, due to the flimsy panels I would recommend 12 guys to put it together. Thought the wife & I were wrestling a bear. Next time I will pay a lot more money and buy something better instead of testing my marriage with assembly of this beast.

Comments about Mustee® Durastall Shower Stall (68):
Best value around and am very happy with this product. Not that difficult to put together when you understand how to snap the pieces together. Did not need another wall to support the unit as it stands well when attached to a wall and any side. Two screws holds the unit well to any wall for support. Has everything you need including shower head and faucets. Am very happy with this product.

- Inadequate Base Support
- Paper-Thin Walls
Best Uses
Comments about Mustee® Durastall Shower Stall (68):
Previous plastic shower stall lasted twenty years. This one lasted less than eight months before it started leaking from the drain. The base support is extremely inadequate and causes movement of the drain connection, thereby causing it to leak. I would advise you to not waste your time on this unit. Spend your cash on a decent shower where the installation time will be far less, and it is built to last.

Comments about Mustee® Durastall Shower Stall (68):
This shower is perfect for our camping trailer. But, it is NOT easy to assemble. We are very handy with most things but this shower was extremely difficult because the panels are so flimsy. Two people are a must and it wouldn't hurt to have third.

Cons

Comments about Mustee® Durastall Shower Stall (68):
I remodeled an older home and the built in shower had to be torn down. This was an inexpensive altrnative. It fit perfectly in the space I had to put it in. The materials were adequate. The only problem I had was that one panel was not cut perfectly at the factory and I had to do some modifications so it would fit in the base. Once installed, I was satisfied with the appearance and functionality of the unit.
Pros

Cons
Best Uses

Comments about Mustee® Durastall Shower Stall (68):
I have have been using this shower stall for 30 years and i'm no light weight at 400 pounds, the only problem I have had in all this time was the screws for the shelf bracket loosening up and the the washers going bad in the hot/cold faucets, it tends to leak from spray around the curtain so I put a two curtains together and keep a towel out side at the base of the curtain, which rarely gets wet.I'm building a new apartment and was pricing fiber glass stalls which range from 350 to 450 dollars, cosmeticly they look much better but I doubt I will get the 30 years use like I did with the Durastall, anyway the [$]price sure has me thinking about getting another one.
Pros
- Functional
- Inexpensive
Cons
- Standing puddle
Best Uses
- Basement only
Comments about Mustee® Durastall Shower Stall (68):
Installed to add a shower to master bathroom. This unit is lightweight-carried it into the house myself. Shower curtain included is light and slightest air movement flips it open so spray hits the bathroom floor. Wooden floor will rot out eventually. Without any modifications I could recommend this unit for unfinished basement installation ONLY.
Pros
- Attractive Design
- Durable
Cons
- Difficult to assemble
Best Uses
- Large Bathroom
Comments about Mustee® Durastall Shower Stall (68):
this unit was a pain to assemble, the panels did'int want to go together and once together they seperated quite easly hence the sheetmetal screws.Do not try this assembly by yourself!
